At New Emerson, we love to learn. All of us.
Here you will find the constructivist model of education in action — where learners construct their own learning, keeping kids at the heart of the educational process.
On the outside, we are a public, magnet school in Mesa County Valley School District 51 in Western Colorado with a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) focus.
On the inside, kindness, collaboration, inquiry, and hands-on learning are the centerpiece of who we are and what we do. We believe in educating the whole child daily, and we seek to involve parents and our local community as much as possible.
Because, all together as a team, we know that we can
Visualize! Believe! and Achieve!   ... one child at a time.
